Can callers tell it is AI?
In blind tests, callers could not distinguish VoicePort from a human receptionist. We use ElevenLabs neural voices with natural pacing, tone variation, and micro-pauses. The AI also handles interruptions, um's, and off-script questions naturally.
Do I need to change my phone number?
No. You keep your existing business number. Just set up call forwarding to your VoicePort number. It takes about 30 seconds with most carriers. You can forward all calls or just unanswered/after-hours calls.
What happens if the AI cannot answer a question?
VoicePort gracefully takes a message and offers to transfer to a team member. It never makes up information. You can set custom fallback rules: transfer to a specific person, take a message, or offer a callback.
How does flat pricing work with spam calls?
VoicePort detects spam and robocalls within seconds and terminates them. Spam calls are not counted toward your monthly call limit. You only pay for real conversations with real people.
Is it HIPAA compliant?
The Enterprise plan includes HIPAA, SOC 2, and ISO compliance with encrypted transcripts, role-based access controls, audit logging, and a Business Associate Agreement (BAA). We work with medical clinics, dental offices, and allied health providers.
